Working Principle & Process Flow

In thread rolling, the blank is pressed between a pair of profiled CDRG rollers under high pressure. Instead of cutting, the material is cold formed, plastically flowing into the roller’s groove to create the thread profile. This produces work-hardened threads with higher tensile strength, improved fatigue resistance, and excellent surface finish. The process flow: material prep ? blank chamfering ? machine setup (center distance, pressure, alignment) ? rolling pass with coolant ? inspection (pitch, PD, flank) ? finishing/packing.
